Our Values
Community Service beyond self
On the whole, we are founded to serve others. While responsibly maintaining itself, we aim to integrate self‐development and individual concerns with public concerns, focusing on higher, broader, and more public levels of service. We aim to conduct our activities for the sake of others, whether the public at large, or a particular segment of the public.
Our practitioners are to be exemplars of genuine altruism and of concern for the welfare of others without primarily thinking of one’s own personal gain.
Responsibility
Entrusted with a responsibility to the public, we will take ownership of the task at hand, taking the initiative and proactively pulling together resources of all types in order to find and implement feasible solutions.
Responsible Citizens are to demonstrate ownership of the organization and its initiatives, be accountable for the execution and outcomes of their organization stated and expected goals, and strive for excellence in their work.
Voluntarism
Rather than required to exist by law, we are formed by private initiative, resulting from the voluntary actions of individuals who have chosen to pursue a shared interest of concern. The retaining of voluntary values and principles shall remain a primary force in the way of working of our organization.
Optimism
Optimism is the value and resource that gives people a generalized expectancy that they will succeed in their endeavors. Our faith is that the belief that things can only get better is often a tonic for those around us and expected success, in turn, gives people the will to expend effort to realize their goals.
Empathy & Generosity
To inculcate the feelings of empathy and compassion rather than sympathy amongst the community and the volunteering individuals and to develop a spirit of generosity so that people may give time and resources to the much needy environment and people in the communities.
